MODELS TREND


Women are the half part of whole population. They rule over media. Any product whether it is for men or for women is advertised by females. Specially the cosmetic industry which can never run successfully without appearance of model girls. But the question is , what these cosmetics and diet companies are promoting. They are promoting slim and size zero image of a girl. This image of girl is appreciated and preferred by all the advertisers. That’s why all of the top actresses of Hollywood and Bollywood are in a phobia to keep them selves slim. Even if they are aged still they are conscious of their figure. Researches have shown that little girls of 6 to 7 years are also getting in the craze of being smart like Barbie doll. So they use these methods to be slim as dieting, fasting, excessive exercise, skipping meals, laxative abuse, self inductive vomiting. As a result of it, they suffer devastating health consequences. This is a proven fact that girls can never maintain that ideal figure for a long time which is being promoted on media. Media activists say that women are sold to beauty industry by the media. This is the media which make every girl feel that she is over weight. In past the Quebec magazine Coup De Puce included full sized women in their fashion mag. But the problem is advertising companies are never happy with this change. So there is need to take some initiative by anyone to change the scenario.
